Lez Go Travel Show review

It’s a mix of travel, culture, and heartfelt stories, all with a queer twist. In its first season, the very cute couple takes us to the lively streets of New Orleans, the culturally rich city of Lafayette, and the beautiful beaches of Jamaica. Let’s dive into our review, why you should add this show to your must-watch list and how you can start binge-watching right now.

Our review and a glimpse into the first episodes

Watching this program is like having your favourite cool lesbian aunts take you on a global tour. Each episode follows fiancés Stacey and Christin, as they immerse themselves in different cities, uncovering the hidden gems and meeting inspiring people from the local queer community.

Next, we head over to Lafayette, Louisiana. This place is all about that Cajun and Creole vibe. Stacey and Christin dive into the local cuisine, dance to some traditional Zydeco music, and chat with members of the queer community who share their unique stories and experiences.

Finally, my personal favourite is Jamaica. Known for its stunning beaches and reggae beats, Jamaica also has a rich, complex LGBTQ+ history. The episode is a vibrant celebration of culture, scenery, and personal growth. Amid the island’s stunning landscapes, Stacey honours her late grandma Mimi’s wish by riding a horse along the beach and into the sea—a poignant moment that captures the essence of carrying on loved ones’ legacies.

Have you ever wanted to go travelling but not 100% sure where is safe for queer people? Or perhaps you’d just like to check somewhere out before you book that trip.
