BI BI BABY – The Party Celebrating Toronto’s Bisexual Community

BI BI BABY, an event by the Something team, returned to the Toronto queer scene to celebrate all things bisexual and thrifty. For their first party of 2025, BI BI BABY decked out Homecourt on Ossington Ave and sported the theme ‘Thrift’, to treat us to an evening of browsing vintage treasures from Space Vintage, dancing to DJ Teray and flirting with cuties of all genders!

In this economy and climate, who is still following fast-fashion trends? BI BI BABY has tuned into this, knowing that the Toronto queers love a weekly pilgrimage to Value Village or Kensington Market. Many a fierce look was to be spotted as the crowd turned it out in their best thrifted statement pieces, and found their next favourite finds amongst the pop-up stores present. That is… if they weren’t busy finding their next favourite fling.

If that wasn’t enough, you could catch a break from the dance floor by admiring the art embellishing the walls, exploring the booths and getting a tattoo from Strawberry Short Ink, being interviewed for BI BI Bites, or having the history of your thrifted jewellery read by the psychometrist Brett Seivwright. Mind you, you’d have to be quick, as most services were fully booked all night long! Contrary to the misguided stereotype, bisexuals clearly know what they want, when they want it.

With the year just kicking off, BI BI BABY is just getting started – so if you missed out, don’t worry! Their next event is on April 12th, and you won’t want to miss it.

If you’re in Toronto and want infectious flirty vibes and bi-pride, all tied up with the fun of a themed party, this is the night for you.

See you at the next one!
