On Thursday 1st August Charli XCX and Billie Eilish joined forces to release a remix of ‘Guess’ and Guess what… the lesbians are loving it (and so are we). The Guess remix has already outstreamed Taylor Swift’s remix of Ice Spice’s record with ‘Karma,’ reaching almost 7 million streams.
Charli XCX has been giving us a Brat Summer, thanks to her album ‘Brat’ dropping in June with the trending dance to ‘Apple’ sweeping across socials, even the Olympians have been getting involved. Charli has been adopted by the queer community and is definitely ‘lookin like an icon.’
Meanwhile, Billie Eilish recently released the phenomenal ‘Lunch’ where she has fully immersed herself into being queer with the lyrics, “I could eat that girl for lunch” and we love it. Of course, then we were all crying out for these two to create something together, they heard us, and they bought us the remix of “Guess” with Billie Eilish whispering seductively to Charli:
“I wanna try it, bite it, lick it, spit it
Pull it to the side and get all up in it
Kiss it, bite it, can I fit it?
Charli likes boys, but she knows I’d hit it

And whilst some Taylor Swift fans think parts of the remix are a diss at Taylor Swift, specifically the lines “You want to guess what me and Billie have been texting about. (You’ve been disrespectful)”, the sapphics only care about one thing, which is that the song is giving so much legendary queerness. Comments under the TikTok video include “BILLIE GAVE US LUNCH AND DINNER”, and “Billie you single handedly just made every girl feral”…we’d have to agree.
Along with the new track, the music video shows the duo having a blast on an actual mountain of bras and knickers. The video features thousands of bras and knickers raining down from the sky and the end credits note that all unworn garments will be donated to I Support The Girls who are a charity that donate underwear and period products to homeless people. The charity tweeted “We’re still not past the donation of ~10,000 bras and underwear donated from @charli_xcx and @billieeilish from the #guess music video”.
