I Kissed A Girl series 2 watch parties: where to watch across the UK in 2026

It’s here. After what feels like the longest wait of the sapphic calendar, I Kissed A Girl is back for series 2, landing on BBC Three and iPlayer on Tuesday 23 June. The first four episodes drop on iPlayer from 6am, with episodes one and two airing on BBC Three at 9pm that night, and the rest rolling out two at a time every Tuesday after.

And because watching ten single women kiss strangers in an Italian Masseria is always better in a room full of people screaming at the screen, queer venues and collectives across the country are throwing watch parties to mark the occasion. It’s also the final series of the whole I Kissed A franchise, so this is your last chance to do it properly.

Here’s our running list of UK watch parties we’ve found so far. We’ll keep adding to it as more get announced, so check back and bookmark this one.

London: Lez Hang Out x Not A Phase

The event crew behind Lez Hang Out are teaming up with trans-led charity Not A Phase to take over The Ministry in Elephant & Castle, and they’re running it across the whole series. The opening night covers episodes one and two: doors at 6:30pm, a quick intro from the Not A Phase team at 7pm, and the screening kicks off promptly at 7:15pm. It’s framed as more than a night in front of the telly: a visible, celebratory show of how much queer and sapphic representation actually matters, with 100% of ticket sales going straight to Not A Phase’s work supporting trans adults.

They kick off on 23 June with the first two episodes, then return on 1 July (bumping the monthly big gay pub quiz), 8 July, and 14 July for the finale. Brighton: Crossbar x Crushed

Down on the south coast, Crossbar – the UK’s first dedicated women’s sports bar – is teaming up with Crushed to screen the whole series, a double episode every Wednesday at 7pm in their Clubhouse room. The 24 June launch night (covering the first four episodes) is already fully booked across the whole bar, but every week after runs in the Clubhouse on a first-come, first-served basis with no need to book – so turn up early and grab a seat. They’re a little ahead of the standard episode split, having shown the first four on opening night.

Birmingham: SCSSR

The Midlands is sorted. SCSSR is running watch parties at Plonk in Cotteridge across the whole series, every Tuesday evening. Each night opens with a 90-minute mixer – wine, a chat and a chance to meet other West Midlands sapphics – before the drama in the masseria kicks off. It’s explicitly a space for dykes, femmes, butches, studs, lesbians, bi, trans, non-binary and wlw-aligned people (gay men welcome as guests of the community), and any profit above costs goes to Birmingham LGBT. Tickets are just £3, and free companion tickets are available – book yours, then contact SCSSR via OutSavvy to add it.

The details:

  • Dates: Tuesday 23 June (eps 1 & 2), 30 June (eps 5 & 6 – note: 3 & 4 not screened), 7 July (eps 7 & 8), 14 July (finale)

Scotland’s in on it too. Lavender Lounge Events is throwing a launch-night party at Committee Room No 9 in Merchant City, explicitly for sapphics, WLW, lesbians, bisexuals, and trans and non-binary folk. Come down from 7:30pm to chill and chat, with the first two episodes starting sharp at 9pm. Tickets are £15 and include a free drink on arrival, so it’s a proper night out rather than a casual drop-in.

The details:

  • Venue: Committee Room No 9, 18 John Street, Merchant City, Glasgow G1 1JQ

It’s an 18+ night (bring ID) for queer women, trans and non-binary folk, with 2-4-1 cocktails between 6:30 and 7:30pm, plus pool and foosball tables if you fancy a game between episodes. Tickets are a very reasonable £2. One access note: the venue is downstairs with no lift.

The details:
