Lesbian Speed Dating at Java Whiskers Cat Café

The dating apps are exhausting. The chats go nowhere. The ghosting is Olympic-level. So, skip it all and do something fun for once. Like speed dating. With lesbians. And cats. Lesbians and Cats – name a better duo.

Java Whiskers, with locations in White City and Marylebone, is hosting Lesbian Speed Dating nights in London for sapphics who want to meet in real life without having to shout over a DJ or decode an emoji-filled bio.

What Do You Get at the Lesbian Speed Dating Event?

  • 4-minute speed dates with each person. Just enough time to clock the vibe.
  • Prompt cards to steer the chat if it goes full tumbleweed.
  • A glass of bubbly (or a non-alcoholic option) to take the edge off.
  • Cats. Walking around. Watching your every move. Absolute icebreakers.

Once the dating rounds are done, there’s time to hang out, chat more, or just chill with the cats. You might meet someone. You might not. Either way, you’ve had a decent night, drunk something fizzy, and stroked a small purring creature (so many jokes come to mind, but we won’t go there), which beats doomscrolling and eating crisps in bed.

Kitten Yoga

Not here for the dating, but still into the cats? They do Kitten Yoga too. It’s a one-hour gentle class with kittens wandering around like they own the place (they do), followed by 30 minutes of tea and cuddles. It’s calm, cute, and actually relaxing.

We know we’ll be checking it out,
