If you watched Married at First Sight UK, you’ll remember Rebecca “Bec” Fenney as the bride who walked in confident, gorgeous, and very clear about what she wanted. Fast-forward to now, and it turns out what she wanted wasn’t a MAFS husband at all.
Bec has soft-launched her new relationship on Instagram, and yes – she’s dating a woman.
After her on-screen marriage to Bailey fizzled out (with plenty of post-show commentary about distance, expectations and emotional pressure), Bec has quietly moved on and into something that looks a lot cuter to us (no offence Bailey, we’re sure you’re a lovely dude – but you know we love our sapphic love stories).
Her new partner is Lily Woodham, a professional footballer currently playing in the Women’s Super League with Liverpool. Go on the girl!

Rather than a big announcement, Bec let Instagram do the talking. A series of cosy clips and photos showed the pair spending time together, capped off with a moment where Lily held up a handwritten sign asking Bec to be her girlfriend. Creds Lily.
Long-time viewers will remember Bec joking during MAFS that she needed an “alpha male”. Now she’s affectionately referring to Lily as her “5ft 4 alpha”.

Friends and fans immediately clocked the post and flooded the comments with support. Fellow MAFS bride Leah was quick to show love too, simply commenting “Cutiessss”. Did MAFS want to spoil us at Nonchalant this year with not one, not two, but three queer women? We’ll take it.
So, Who Is Lily Woodham?
Lily is a Welsh international footballer with a solid career behind her. She’s previously played for clubs including Reading and Everton, gaining top-flight experience in the Women’s Super League before joining Liverpool this season.

Primarily a defender, Lily is known for being calm on the ball and quietly consistent – very much a do-the-job-well kind of player. She’s also represented Wales at an international level.
Congrats to you both – we love to see it (come chat to us soon).
Nonchalant x
