On Wednesday 31st July, East London’s hottest LBGTQ+ collective QUEER EDGE (QE) launched its first QE LIVE – a brand new, monthly queer LIVE entertainment night.
What is QE Live?
Perfect for a midweek mate or date night, QE LIVE is all about showcasing emerging LGBTQ+ artists and their allies. This monthly event is packed with live music, dance, art, and comedy, happening every last Wednesday of the month at Nico’s Cocktail Bar in Hackney Wick.
Queer Edge’s founder, Emma-Jane Nutbrown, explains that she’s bringing live music and entertainment to Hackney Wick to meet the huge demand for more queer events in this vibrant, creative part of London. She says, “QE LIVE will provide a platform for our talented local queer artists and create another great hangout for our community. We promise fun vibes and a fresh, exciting way for artists and audiences to connect through live entertainment.”
When and where is QE Live?
EVERY last Wednesday of the month, starting on Weds 31st July.
Doors open 5pm, live performances from 6pm.
