Leandra Earl’s Music Career
Since joining The Beaches in 2013, Leandra has contributed to every major era of the band’s growth. Key releases include:
- Late Show (2017) – led to the Juno Award for Breakthrough Group of the Year (2018)
- Sisters Not Twins (2022) – won Rock Album of the Year

Leandra’s role spans guitar, synth, and vocal harmonies, making her an essential part of the band’s evolving sound. Her contributions give the group the flexibility to shift between raw alt-rock and more produced, melodic tracks without losing their identity.
Who is Leandra’s Partner or Girlfriend?
Leandra Earl is openly queer and has spoken candidly about her past relationships with women, including the one that inspired her track Edge of the Earth. (Her Campus) In later interviews, she’s also mentioned navigating a “poly thing” and an open relationship after breaking up with an ex-girlfriend. (Dork Magazine) Despite sharing these glimpses into her dating history, Leandra keeps her private life largely offline and hasn’t publicly confirmed a current partner or girlfriend. She’s close with her bandmates – Kylie Miller, Jordan Miller and Eliza Enman-McDaniel – and the group often joke about each other’s love lives in interviews, but these comments are clearly playful rather than evidence of romantic relationships.
