Your Girlfriend Wants You to Buy her The Sunday Riley Ultimate Glow Facial at Liberty – Trust Us

So, you need a gift for your girlfriend or wife, and you’ve got zero clue (unless you’re Gen Z, in which case go you, you youthful little know-it-all, said with love from your future self). Flowers? Okayyy, but they’re just a sidekick to the real gift, and if she’s got a cat (likely), they’re more hassle than they’re worth since a lot of flowers are poisonous to cats. Jewellery? Average at best – unless it’s an engagement ring. Chocolate? That just screams, “I popped into Tesco on the way home”.

Luckily for you, we’ve done the heavy lifting and found something that’s a foolproof win. Okay, fine, my wife actually bought me this, and therefore technically she did the heavy lifting, and I just claimed it – but I’ve tried it myself and can vouch, it’s amazing. It’s the kind of gift that makes you look like you know skincare, wellness, and TikTok trends, even if you think “retinol” is a type of gin. And if you do actually know skincare? Then add this one to your “I deserve a gift” list, too. Read all about it below, or use the handy skip links to the section you need.

What’s included in the Sunday Riley Ultimate Glow Facial?

The short story: they buff, hydrate, serum, lighten, and heat the hell out of your face for two hours until you look like you’re not in fact addicted to coffee, nor smoked the head off yourself throughout your twenties (not recommended, by the way). Exactly what one needs, right?

the dinah

This isn’t just your run-of-the-mill facial where someone exfoliates and then rubs moisturiser on your face and calls it a day. Sunday Riley is the cult beauty brand that everyone with annoyingly perfect skin swears by. Their products are a mix of botanical wizardry and science-y potions that TikTok skincare influencers rave about like it’s a religious experience. You’re basically getting a full-on spa spectacle: cleanse, resurface, serum, massage, LED, cryo-air, and a final hydrating Vitamin C flourish, more details below.

Skin Analysis
You kick off with a proper deep dive into your complexion.

Extractions
Yep, they go there, clearing clogged pores.

Double Cleanse
A rich, nourishing double cleanse that both hydrates and banishes impurities.

Prebiotic Firming Resurfacing Treatment
A thirsty-for-hydration prebiotic magic shot that firms up and helps restore your skin’s microbiome.

Gentle AHA Exfoliation
A mild lactic or glycolic scrubby exfoliation that lifts off dead skin cells and smooths your texture.

Restorative Serum
Nourishing touches next – think richer, hydrating serums that feed your skin before the good stuff hits.

Lymphatic Facial Massage
A pro-level massage that de-puffs, boosts circulation, and helps “drain toxins”, basically your skin’s version of a little detox session.

Tri-Wave LED Treatment
LED light that firms, plumps, calms, tackles acne bacteria, and fades scars.

Hand and Arm Massage (during LED)
Because why should your face get all the pampering attention? Such a nice touch, by the way.

Cryo-Skin Air Blast (Liquid Nitrogen-Powered Cryotherapy)
A sub-zero blast of cold air over the face and neck, stimulating elastin/collagen, tightening pores, evening out tone.

Vitamin C Moisture Treatment
To finish: a bright, barrier-restoring vitamin C hydration that gives your glow that final punch. This is excellent for hyperpigmentation.

How much are we talking?

Liberty London actually offers four different Sunday Riley facials and the price points are actually surprisingly reasonable, ranging from £85 to £135.

  • Signature Glow Facial – This is your entry-level indulgence at £85, perfect for a little skin pick-me-up with a hydrating cleanse, prebiotic hydration, lymphatic massage, and that finishing Vitamin C zing.
  • LED Glow Facial – Supercharge your radiance with LED action for £110.
  • Cryo Glow Facial – Ice cool cryotherapy, also at £110.
  • The Ultimate Glow Facial – the one I’ve been raving about, which sits at the top tier with all of the bells and whistles, for £135.

When you book your slot, you pay a £85 deposit, but that’s fully redeemable on Sunday Riley products the same day. Basically, you’re paying yourself back in skincare. So good.

Just a heads-up: you’ll need to put it towards at least two products, and add-ons don’t count.

Where can you get it?

The Ultimate Glow Facial is exclusive to the Sunday Riley Treatment Room at Liberty London. You can also get other types of facials at a few other spots, like the Sunday Riley Spa at Hershesons Fitzrovia in London, or Galeries Lafayette in Paris. Selfridges Trafford in Manchester occasionally hosts Sunday Riley pop-ups. These are one-off events, so it’s worth keeping an eye on their Eventbrite page for upcoming sessions.
