Homobloc returns to Manchester this September, and the full lineup is huge

Homobloc is back for its seventh edition on Saturday 26th September – and for the first time ever, it’s happening in the summer(ish). The all-day-to-night queer block party takes over Depot Mayfield once again, with 10,000 people under one roof from 5pm until 4am. Their words: “dance ’til we are free.” Ours: get your tickets before they’re gone.

Homobloc lineup 2026

This is Homobloc’s most club-heavy lineup yet, and it’s stacked. Grammy winner Kim Petras headlines, joined by Swedish avant-pop icon Cobrah (playing a special hybrid DJ/live set), a b2b from Chicago house royalty Honey Dijon and Derrick Carter, and Amsterdam favourite Job Jobse.

The one we’re most excited about? S.A.S.S. – the powerhouse quartet of Saoirse, Moxie, Peach and Shanti Celeste – playing Manchester for the first time as a collective. Four of the sharpest DJs going, closing out the Concourse together. Expect big energy and zero restraint.

Elsewhere, you’ll find all-female collective Girls Don’t Sync, Manchester legend DJ Paulette, Palms Trax, Horse Meat Disco, I.Jordan, LSDXOXO, a rare DJ set from Dorian Electra, and too many more to list to be quite frank. It’s a lot, in the best way.

This year Homobloc debuts Vault – a new 1,000-capacity stage in Depot Mayfield’s former ticket hall, hosted by Ponyboy. If you haven’t heard of them, the Glasgow club night (which is also somehow a hair salon and an immersive theatre show) is dedicated to platforming trans and nonbinary people, and has been hailed as one of the best club nights in the UK. Their lineup includes Afro Pasifika DJ Lady Shaka, NYC-based DJ and activist Armana Khan, Berlin’s Meg10 and Luca Eck, plus I.Jordan and Dorian Electra.

FLESH celebrates 35 years at the Star & Garter

Homobloc is also celebrating 35 years of FLESH, the trailblazing LGBTQ+ club night born at The Haçienda that helped push queer culture into the mainstream – and gave the club its first female resident DJs. FLESH takes over the upstairs of the Star & Garter with original residents Tim Lennox, Kath McDermott, Guy Williams, DJ Paulette and Mike Hux, plus a special appearance from house legend Adeva.

Downstairs we have Manchester dyke party Butch Revival brings the northern lesbian energy, alongside trans-centred collective T4T. We know where we’ll be.

The Homodolls: drag, dance and 150+ performers

More than 150 performers – The Homodolls, curated by Creative Director Sophie Bee – will fill every corner of Depot Mayfield with drag, dance, theatre and immersive performance. Highlights include We Were Always Here, a new dance work from Maisha Kungu Dance celebrating FLINTA identities, Drag Race UK stars Awhora, Black Peppa and Marmalade in the PU RAUL supermodels show, and the return of Blackstage Pole, whose set was one of last year’s defining moments.
