Who is Mae Martin?
Mae Martin was born on 2 May 1987 in Toronto and started doing comedy at just 13, as part of a three-person troupe called The Young and the Useless. In 2011 they moved to London to take on the British comedy circuit, and shows like Us and Dope – plus the BBC Radio 4 series Mae Martin’s Guide to 21st Century Sexuality – followed. (Wikipedia)
The big one, of course, is Feel Good, the semi-autobiographical Channel 4 and Netflix series Mae co-created with Joe Hampson, starring as a version of themself opposite Charlotte Ritchie and Lisa Kudrow.
