Arsenal Women will play every single Barclays Women’s Super League home match at Emirates Stadium next season, the club confirmed today – the second consecutive season the team has called the 60,000-capacity ground home for league football.
It’s 13 games in total, up from 11 last season, reflecting the two new teams joining an expanded WSL for 2026/27.
The numbers behind the decision are doing the heavy lifting here. Arsenal Women have sold half a million tickets across all competitions this season so far – a 10% jump on last year – with an average WSL attendance of 34,677 at the Emirates across 10 league games. That’s up slightly on last season’s 34,110 average across nine Emirates fixtures. A record 17,000 supporters bought seasonal memberships.

For context: five years ago, Arsenal Women played the vast majority of their matches at Meadow Park in Borehamwood, with the occasional Emirates fixture treated as a special event. Now the special event is the default. Meadow Park – rebranded the Mangata Pay UK Stadium – will host UEFA Women’s Champions League league phase matches and domestic cup ties, with UWCL knockout rounds returning to the Emirates if Arsenal qualify.
This season also saw the Emirates host the inaugural FIFA Women’s Champions Cup final and third-place play-off, with Arsenal Women becoming the competition’s first-ever winners after beating Brazilian side Corinthians 3-2 in the final on 1 February.
Head coach Renée Slegers said the club had “experienced the incredible connection between the club and our supporters” this season, adding the team was “proud of the progress we continue to make together.”

Alongside the fixture confirmation, Arsenal is continuing Block by Block, its long-term supporter consultation project shaping the matchday experience at the Emirates. Over 250 supporters have taken part in nine workshops so far, co-creating everything from hand-stitched tifos to matchday music sets and hand-painted murals. Two more sessions are scheduled before the season ends.
Season Tickets and Six Game Bundles will return for 2026/27, with renewal details to follow. Fixtures for both the WSL and Premier League seasons are expected to be confirmed later in the summer.
The Emirates as Arsenal Women’s permanent home isn’t a one-off anymore. It’s just where they play now.
